What You'll Do

This position is responsible for managing, developing, and leading a team of sales leaders who lead Account Managers and Account Executives as aligned to assigned verticals. Leading teams in a fast, complex selling environment. Developing and implementing sales go-to-market strategies for aligned revenue expectations in existing account base, new client acquisition, and product innovation growth goals. The Sales Director will lead our growing Sales team and focus on driving revenue growth and increased market share for our suite of products.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS office location. Remote will be considered within the continental United States.

How You’ll Spend Your TimeAchieve and exceed Annual Recurring Revenue targets/expectations in specific market segments and product categories.Develop and execute annual sales plans and quota targets aligned to strategic territory plans to maximize revenue for assigned market segments and accounts.Conduct market environment analysis and formulate sales budget.Forecast and present monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets to executive leadership on a timely basis.Collaborate and coordinate with Product development team to provide customer insights and needs for product development and go-to-market (G2M) plans.Collaborate and coordinate with Marketing as a voice of the customer to influence demand generation and brand efforts.Coordinate implementation with the Client Experience team on pre/post-sales implementation, launch plans, and hand-off process.Participate and support cross functional projects as requested by the Senior Leadership team.Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers.

What You'll NeedBachelor’s degree; MBA is preferred.7+ years sales leadership experience, leading a 5+ person team.Desire to set the tone and culture of a growing sales team.Five years of successful outside sales experience with prior business development responsibilities.Consultative selling experience is preferred.Experience in penetrating new markets and new account acquisition.Ability to establish sales practices, selecting, training, motivating, compensating, evaluating, sizing, establishing structure and setting goals for high performing sales organizations.Possess a strategic view of business and a creative mindset and approach.Provide leadership and oversight for the Sales team, including mentoring and development to drive quota attainment.Understanding of how to implement tactical plans and execute on emerging strategies while penetrating new markets.Knowledge of CRM and associated technology with ability to leverage managerial reporting.Ability to collect sales data, implement data processing, conduct data analysis, and formulate improvement plans for sales funnels/opportunities.Strong track record of forming customer relationships which have resulted in long-term productive business relationships.Strong collaborative approach to business and ability to work cross functionally to accomplish organizational objectives.Provide strategic guidance and insight about market trends while measuring the effectiveness of sales strategies.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to demonstrate a consultative sales approach in working with clients.
