The legal team helps in managing and defending against risk and ensures the company operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. As corporate counsel, you will be responsible for building out a company-wide formal compliance program to ensure all operations are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring various legislative actions (state and federal) and assisting with implementing the company’s legislative strategy. This role will report to the General Counsel.Responsibilities

Establish, develop, and implement a company-wide compliance program to ensure the company is operating in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.Establish monitoring systems and processes to detect compliance violations.Design and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on the company’s legal obligations, policies, and procedures.Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and communicate their impact to the appropriate stakeholders within the organization.Provide legal expertise, strategic guidance, and comprehensive analysis to support our organization’s legislative and advocacy efforts.Qualifications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to non-legal stakeholders.Strong ability to quickly adapt to evolving legal and regulatory landscapes.Ability to manage conflicts between competing legal and business matters.Exceptional organizational and project management skills.Education And Years Of Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a lawyer in a compliance or regulatory role.Familiarity with and experience in advocating policy and legislative matters.Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar is required.Preferred

Experience with federal and state labor and employment regulations.Familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations.We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $105,500 -- $248,900 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.In Return We Offer
