Where leadership partners with you, seek to cultivate and support career development, encouraging growth from within while striving to foster a diverse and inclusive environment that improves individual and organizational performance.Highlights of working for Quevera are:Quevera employees voted Quevera as a TOP EMPLOYER in the Baltimore /DC area for 2020 (ranked #8 out of 150 companies) and 2022 (ranked #5 out of 150 companies).Yearly $5,000 towards education/training.Employees are in control of their career path through our Career Pathway Program.Family and corporate events.Excellent health care coverage (100% paid premium option) and 401K matching (up to 4%).And many more!Duties and Responsibilities:Part-time TeleworkCollaborate on a team of 4 developers modernizing an enterprise Corporate Management Information System that integrates services to achieve a reduction in the Unliquidated Obligation (ULO) cycle-time and increase efficiencies.Write code, develop features, and maintain the application.Address user issues, fix bugs, and improve system performance.Work on a small collaborative development team that operates on a monthly sprint schedule, to include quarterly upgrades.Required Experience:Experience working in an Agile Development environment.Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to include requirements definition, design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment.Experience with Java.Experience with PrimeNG UI and TypeForm API.Experience managing systems in a virtual hosting environment including AWS.Experience with PostgreSQL.Experience working with Docker for containerization.Qualifications:Three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Seven (7) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Experience with JavaScript Framework (Angular, Vue, React).Full Stack Development experience.Willingness to learn modern technologies.Working understanding on SQL and/or NoSQL databases.Quevera is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
