This hospital has recently expanded their campus and added state-of-the-art technology. The hospital provides a large array of services including ED, birthing suite, coronary care, diagnostic imaging, occupational health, oncology cancer clinic, rehabilitation services, and surgical services.This hospital is looking to hire a permanent and full-time Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Technician on night shift for a 4x10 hour shift. The Medical Technologist/MLT will perform various chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Key responsibilities include:Applying techniques used in the disciplines of coagulation, hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, transfusion medicine, and serology.Accurate and timely accessioning of patient and testing information into the laboratory information system (LIS).Initial troubleshooting of problems.For consideration, applicants must have an A.S. or B.S. degree in Medical Technology or a related field. Registration by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or the equivalent is required.This hospital is offering a competitive hourly rate in addition to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a flexible spending account, short and long-term disability, a 403(b) plan, wellness incentives, tuition reimbursements, and other discounted services.
