As an organization, we keep growing – and so will you.Department OverviewSenior Finance Analyst- FP&A manages consolidation of Bank's overall monthly and quarterly management reporting process and act as the subject matter expert and key point of contact before and throughout the process working closely with other business areas and provide support for special projects when needed.Job DescriptionConducts complex analysis as it applies to area of responsibilityUnderstands the whole financial function and the key business areas supportedFocus is on one or more components of results that have greater complexity (e.g., Expenses, Revenue, Volumes) or on complete results for a single line of businessMay lead activities of unit, assigning, prioritizing and monitoring workMay resolve escalated issues and problems by conferring with staffMay provide training and mentoring for new and less experienced staffProvides financial, analytical, planning, and forecasting expertise to assist in the development and completion of projectsMay develop specialized analytical tools for project or ongoing useMay develop conclusions and courses of action to rectify discrepancies as well as analysesDevelops and analyzes key metric and plan variances and related informationMay provide cost and product analysesDevelops analyses of performance and predictive dataCompiles and generates ad-hoc analytical reportsMay develop financial analytical and forecasting models to test assumptions and predict results of business initiativesMay lead additional research efforts, applying expertise in financial analysisMay research and review details of business operating metrics and actively seeks to identify and promote new opportunities or productsJob RequirementsMust be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.Bachelors degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below5-7 years related experience requiredIn-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial model-building and interpretive statisticsAbility to successfully plan, develop, lead, and execute projectsAbility to effectively interpret, select appropriate techniques, take independent action, communicate and follow-throughStrong communications skills, both written and verbalStrong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skillsAbility to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectivesPractical knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologiesAbility to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business informationKnowledge and understanding of budgeting and forecasting processesKnowledge of accounting and the associated rules and regulationsQualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skillsIndependent self-starterStrong excel skills required.
