Job DescriptionManages, organizes, and leads a team across a broad set of disciplines (including but not limited to: network security, security, and endpoint security). Directs the deployment of technical security services and solutions. Plans, organizes, designs, and implements technical security solutions to minimize risk exposure to the health system. Manages the development and oversight of the disaster recovery program including development of strategy, roadmaps, policies, and standards.Job ResponsibilityProvides leadership to Information Security team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system. Evaluates, plans, and delivers new technical security solutions which reduce risk for the organization; periodically evaluates existing security technologies to ensure optimal effectiveness.Recommends, implements, and adheres to approved operating goals, objectives, and budget; reports operational performance, justification, and/or corrective action.Manages, estimates the level of effort, prioritizes tasks, and reports status for security technology implementations and health system upgrades; engages with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are understood and achieved.Manages the development and oversight of the disaster recovery program, including development of disaster recovery strategies, guidelines, standards, deployment plans, and recovery exercises.Collaborates and coordinates with business units, external business partners, and key IT staff to plan, direct, control, and maintain effective disaster recovery plans.Provides technical guidance and oversight of all security technology-related issues enterprise-wide; proactively identifies and resolves issues to meet strategic and technical goals.Manages and implements staffing requirements; selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection, development, management, and evaluation of indirect reports.Performs related duties as required. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.Job QualificationBachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership/management experience required.Preferences:Security+, CEH, and Zerto Certifications are a plus.Familiarity with information security & disaster recovery tools.High attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong organizational skills.Ability to multi-task & make change happen.Build relationships.Planning/execution.Additional Salary DetailThe salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
