We Stand For Service is more than part of our name, it’s our mission and our purpose.Within WSFS Capital Markets, the Interest Rate Derivative team identifies, presents, and executes interest rate hedging solutions for the firm's corporate, commercial, small business, wealth, and private banking clients. WSFS Capital Markets is seeking a senior sales leader with responsibility for marketing interest rate hedging strategies to customers across the WSFS banking footprint. The successful candidate must possess strong sales process execution skills and will be responsible for servicing existing relationships and prospecting for new customers. The Director of Interest Rate Derivative Sales position requires excellent communication and presentation skills via face to face, telephone, and email interactions. This role is expected to provide formal and informal leadership on the Interest Rate Derivative team and set an example of exemplary professionalism and market expertise with internal and external customers alike.Job ResponsibilitiesDrive interest rate derivatives revenue for the Capital Markets team through high-quality client servicing, prospecting, and strong sales execution.Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand the strategic objectives of customers and recognize the financial impact of hedging solutions on the client’s business.Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients (including ISDA and Dodd-Frank documentation).Work closely with various internal teams at WSFS – commercial banking relationship managers, wealth advisors, credit risk officers, back-office operations, etc. – to effectively identify, manage, and execute interest rate hedging opportunities.Establish strong external partnerships with centers of influence through regular contact via educational seminars and interest rate derivative product presentations to build collaborative customer-focused relationships.Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance brand awareness and expand professional network.Quantify credit, market, and reputational risks, and work with appropriate partners to manage these risks.Structure, price, and execute all interest rate derivative products (swaps, caps, collars, cancellable, etc.)Stay updated on industry regulations and market intelligence to provide clients with relevant market insights and risk management advice.Develop and deliver custom market color and product education materials to internal and external customers.Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, sales reports, and revenue forecasts.Report to the Managing Director of Capital Markets and senior management on the performance and potential of the Interest Rate Derivatives lines of business.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years of experience marketing interest rate hedging solutions to corporate clients.Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.Deep knowledge of ISDA and Dodd-Frank compliance documentation, derivatives, fixed income, and corporate debt markets.Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines, accounting principles, and their application to derivatives.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience working with all levels of management within a financial institution.Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with a variety of partner departments.Strong project, process, and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Entrepreneurial spirit and strong sales aptitude.Proficiency in using sales CRM systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.Must be highly ethical, positive, and intellectually curious, with strong oral and written communication skills.The ability to remain calm and operate effectively under pressure, and a high degree of organization and attention to detail are imperative.
