Corporate Accounting Manager

Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000The Accounting Manager is a member of the accounting team whose primary responsibility is accounting for consolidation and monthly/year-end closings. The successful candidate should have experience in public accounting and be proficient at consolidation and corporate accounting. Exposure to real accounting is a plus. This position reports to the Corporate VP Finance.
This is a full-time position located in San Francisco, CA.WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Perform monthly consolidationFinancial statement presentationReview monthly closingsMaintain the Loan scheduleReview for accuracy the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements. Prepare adjusting journal entries for review/approval.Work with auditors and respond to auditor inquiries for financial statements and for tax mattersAssist the Accounting Team with other ad-hoc projects as neededWHAT WE NEED:
Required:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting3+ years of experience in public accountingCPA RequiredSolid knowledge of GAAP AccountingExcellent Excel experience.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in preparing schedules including reconciliationsProactive learner who enjoys solving problems and a variety of challengesAbility to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work productProvide technical expertise to assigned entitiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)Ability to work independently with limited direction from managerPreferred:5+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public/privatePreparation of consolidated financial statements experienceWHAT WE OFFER:
