Special Procedures Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab - Full TimeSign On BonusPosition HighlightsTexas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital 811 Wright Street, Arlington, TX 76012Work hours: Full-time, Days, 40 hours weekly, Full-time; 40 Hours; 10-hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday with rotating days off; On call required (Must be able to report to Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital within 30 minutes of call.)We have 4 Cath Labs, 3 of which are EP capable.Sign On Bonus for Eligible New HiresHere's What You'll Need•An Associate's Degree in Applied Science or the completion of accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology or a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology is required.(Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency is required.)•One (1) year of vascular or cardiac angiography experience is preferred•Two (2) years of vascular or cardiac angiography experience is required if high school diploma.•Call required.Must be able to report to Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital within 30 minutes of call.•ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required with CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire or•Or RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist required upon hire•BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and•ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support-within 90 days required.Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is a separately licensed hospital located on the campus of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital.We are a 47 bed facility including a 20 bed Cardiovascular ICU and a 27 bed cardiac telemetry unit.Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is accredited for Chest Pain through The Joint Commission.We have achieved AHA's Gold Plus award for three years in a row, AHA's Gold Plus award for Heart Failure and Beacon Award Silver level through AACN.We specialize in CABG and Valve surgeries, thoracotomies, general cardiac including heart failure, cardiomyopathies, AMI, TAVR, post heart catheterization including angioplasty, stenting and electrophysiology studies.As part of the Texas Health family, we employ over 24,000 employees and are among the areas top five largest employers.
