District:Grosse Pointe Public SchoolsJob Summary:Greets and interacts with students, parents and staff visiting school officeAnswers calls and effectively resolves issues/questions or directs to appropriate school personnel as necessaryTypes lists, reports, letters, programs, school newspaper, tests, etc.Assists with registration, testing and school activitiesOperates office machinesSorts and distributes mail as requiredComplete basic medical procedures including diabetes care, epipen injections, etc.Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisorQualifications:

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google ApplicationsOutstanding communications and customer service skills required.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, co-workers and the publicGood typing, spelling and language skillsExcellent organizational, computation and spelling skillsWorking knowledge of basic office procedure and the operation of common office machines

Working Conditions:A-1, $15.30 - $19.69/Hour, 10 month position; Start date: As Soon As Possible
