Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
SEACORP is currently seeking a Computer Analyst to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. The candidate will support system analysis and design techniques used in cryptologic carry-on systems.
Job Responsibilities include:
Work independently to configure Linux and Windows operating systems; local area networks and VME embedded computer environments.Additionally, candidate should have knowledge and experience with virtual computing environments (ex: VMWare), software containerization, the orchestration of software containers, Machine Learning and Neural Networks.Qualifications:
Education:
BS, AS, in Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Electronics Technician, or Engineering discipline or High School Degree (15 Years relevant experience).
Experience:
Seven (7) years of full-time professional experience in system analysis and design techniques used in cryptologic carry-on systems.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Knowledge and experience with virtual computing environments (ex: VMWare), software containerization, the orchestration of software containers, Machine Learning and Neural Networks.Combined total of 3 years full-time processional System Administration experience in Windows and Linux.Combined total of 3 years of full-time professional experience in all of the following skillsets/disciplines:High-level programming language (e.g. C++, Java, Python).Virtual computing environments (e.g. VMWare, VirtualBox, PROXMOX, XCP-ng) Software Containerization application and utilization (e.g. Docker, IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).Software configuration management of tracking bug/enhancements in software releases.Repository management experience (e.g. Git, Mercurial).Scripting (e.g. bash, pearl, sh).Combined total of one (1) year of professional experience with each of the following technologies:Relevant hardware architecture (e.g. VME, VPX, SOSA).Configuration of Local Area Networks.Machine Learning and Neural Networks.Assembly level languages.System and Network Cyber Security related activities to include design, implementation, configuration and enforcement of security.Top Secret / SCI Clearance preferred.
