Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a Data Governance Analyst with Data Lineage for an opportunity with a client located in Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the collection and organization of data assetsSupport the formation and execution of a data governance frameworkWork with data owners and stakeholders to implement and maintain data governance policiesMonitor and report on compliance to data standards and proceduresCollaborate in the capture and organization of knowledge assetsCollect business requirements for data governance activitiesRecommend improvements to data quality through systems and platformsManage quality assurance initiatives to enhance data reliabilityDevelop and maintain data quality rules and business glossary entriesIdentify and address data issues in existing processes and systemsSupport stakeholder engagement and provide data quality dashboardsContribute to data-related projects across the enterpriseRequirements:
Data Analysis for controls and data qualityFinancial services knowledge particularly regarding regulatory and governance rolesAttention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data and analysisPoor performance in prior Bank of America positionsTech or Data role Detail oriented with the ability to handle a variety of taskworks in a self-directed manner and takes a proactive approach to job responsibilities Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on deadlinesExcellent verbal and written skillsExperience in performing data analysis tasksDemonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy as well as the ability to research issues and identify root cause and patternCollaboration and teamwork skills requiredSpreadsheet skills, MS Access, MS Excel, Visual Basic for MS PowerPoint, SharePointExperience with EDM and/or GRM Policy and StandardsAbility to learn quickly, work autonomously with minimal direction, proactively identify tasksCurious learner that is comfortable asking questions if they do not understand a subjectEmbraces new ideas and quick responses to changing situationsPrefer degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related field but not required
