As a Trading Services Manager - Vice President within the Asset Management Operations Distribution Middle Office team, you will be responsible for Event Management (Launches, Restructures, Terminations and Transitions), Funds Oversight and New Business review. The team supports the diverse ways Investment Management products are delivered to clients; including funds, separately managed accounts, and retirement plans. The team acts as a liaison between Operations and Internal Business teams including Product Delivery, Client Service, Funds Treasury, and Intermediary Services. In addition, the team works closely with the US Equity business team on new initiatives. In this role, they will drive innovation and scalability to improve future business outcomes in parallel to managing the successful migration of the back office.

Job responsibilities:
  • Central point of contact between Client Services, Business Platform and Operations. Coordinating with various teams within Operations for operational support and providing sign off in partnership with appropriate teams for New Business review and Fund Life-Cycle Events.
  • Managing and coordination of transitions, interactions with transition manager, middle office teams and custodian to facilitate transitions processing.
  • Holistic understanding of operations functions and infrastructure to be able to have a meaningful seat at the table.
  • Oversight of holistic fund level monitoring including oversight of pre-trade requirements for investor subscriptions and redemptions, as well as implementation of restrictions at fund level based on underlying investors for ERISA funds monitoring and commingled funds.
  • Managing issues, escalation and stakeholder management.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 7+ years of experience in asset management industry and at least 2 years of experience in Fund/Client Onboarding and implementation experience.
  • Effectively messaging priorities, initiatives, and updates to senior management, as well as knowledge of multi-asset markets, products and processes required.
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes.
  • Ability to manage complexity, juggle multiple projects and deliver solutions to a tight deadline, and demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups to drive the agenda.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, strong people skills, ability to collaborate, show commitment and dedication, and maintain a positive attitude and prominent level of performance on high-profile and time-sensitive initiatives.
  • Proficient to advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, One Note and Word, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to articulate complex solutions.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Knowledge of intelligent automation platforms such as Alteryx, Tableau, Signavio are a plus.
  • Investment management expertise/experience and proven history of delivering projects, complex products and/or new business initiatives preferred.
