As a Fraud Risk Product Manager - Vice President in Risk Management and Compliance, you will work with the Area Product Owner to manage and drive cross functional projects to shape the technology solutions for our strategic fraud risk initiatives. Working at the intersection of business and technology you'll interact with colleagues in various lines of businesses to learn about challenges and opportunities, transform that knowledge into high quality technical requirements, and coordinate with technical delivery teams to ensure solutions meet all requirements while providing exceptional business and customer experience.

Within the Monetary Decisions Area Product, you will be supporting the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Fraud Risk Center of Excellence and Chief Risk Officers across lines of business. You will interact regularly with Fraud Risk Product, Technology teams, Risk Strategy, Operations, Modelling, and various partner Product/Technology teams to understand/shape the goals and scope of the key initiatives and drive them forward.

In addition to working with the development teams to create new solutions, you'll help optimize existing technology and identify new capabilities. While your role requires both business and technical skills including expertise in everything from data management to functional design, it also hinges on teamwork, leadership and ownership. You will offer clear guidance and feedback to your colleagues, product teams, and technology resources to ensure highest quality deliverables, processes, and experiences while promoting the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Fraud Risk product owners, data scientists, and fraud strategists on various initiatives to facilitate and drive customer focused solutions across the organization, serving as a subject matter expert to major business processes and supporting applications/capabilities.
  • Manage the interdependencies between product releases and other product delivery teams and activities required for end to end delivery
  • Design solutions and improve existing software systems and applications to meet business requirements, working with stakeholders and technology partners
  • Conduct and lead technical and functional Joint Application Discovery (JAD) sessions, driving the team during solution design and defining web services API contracts. build requirement artifacts, data flow diagrams, user stories, use cases, mapping documents, and defining test scenarios.
  • Elicit accurate functional and technical requirements and user stories with supporting acceptance criteria.
  • Lead programs from discovery to implementation, organizing teams, scoping requirements, structuring meetings, understanding project impact, and identifying issues and actionable opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams across functional areas (Product, Technology, Strategy, Channels, Operations) to deliver for initiatives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree, in engineering, computer science, technology, or related field
  • Demonstrated product management experience in fraud risk or financial services
  • Strong ability to influence and define product alignment using data-driven insights
  • Strong experience with agile product delivery methods
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships across a large, highly matrixed organization
  • Excellent people management skills and growing a team
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and share concepts clearly & unambiguously. Being able to discuss topics with across varied audiences of business & technical resources. Comfortable creating and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Self-starter & able to manage projects from ideation through completion with strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver actionable insights

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Advanced degree is a plus
