Senior Program Manager, Business Technology

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our PMO team to focus on program and project management efforts for large-scale enterprise migration projects. This complex work will encompass multiple work streams across key business functions, including Marketing, Sales, Success, Support, Billing, and Finance. Reporting to the VP of Program Management, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of enterprise system transformation initiatives and the integration of critical enterprise systems used throughout the company, factoring in all people, process, and technology considerations. In line with Hootsuite's distributed workforce strategy, our flexible work arrangement allows for remote work or a hybrid model. This role is open to applicants located in across Canada and the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Program Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines for each priority.
  • Drive communication with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment during the planning phase.
  • Continuously review and adjust plans as needed to accommodate changes in scope, resources, or priorities.


Program Execution:
  • Manage resource allocation and program budgets for transformation programs, including managing relationships with contractors and system integrators.
  • Drive development and implementation of a testing plan to validate that all solutions meet the business requirements and quality standards


Program Communication & Coordination
  • Keep executive team and key stakeholders informed of progress against critical milestones
  • Drive the change management for the roll out of our integrated systems, partnering with leadership and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with all other change activities needed to implement our strategy
  • Drive communication with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment during planning and delivery.


Escalated Issue Resolution:
  • Act as a point of escalation for issues impacting team performance or project delivery, working with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions.
  • Provide guidance and best practices to team members on effective issue resolution and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement within the program management team.


Governance:
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes and guidelines for program management within the assigned area.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established governance policies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to team members in the adoption of best practices for planning and execution.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or related discipline.
  • Broad and varied experience required to include at least 3+ years proven experience and demonstrated success in technology program management with an emphasis on SaaS Enterprise technologies or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with enterprise system transformation initiatives including management and control of transformation program budgets
  • Experience managing transformation initiatives in Marketing, Quote to Cash, ERP, Customer Support architecture and customer / product master data platforms e.g. Salesforce, Google, NetSuite, Marketo, eCommerce platforms/customer portals, ZenDesk, etc.
  • Experience with Billing and ERP systems is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills with ability to multi-task
  • Current SA, SM or Project Management certification required.
  • Pursuing advanced Project Management certifications a plus (CSP, ACP, SA, PMP).
  • Strong communication ability, verbally and written, with both management and technical audiences at all levels.

Canada Pay Range For This Role

$154,600-$216,400 CAD

US Pay Range For This Role

$151,500-$212,100 USD
