Profile Summary:

We are hiring an Operational Risk Senior Analyst role. This position reports to the Head of Operational Risk at Resolution Life U.S. ("RLUS"). This position supports the business to properly manage and assess operational risks, drive risk content discussions, make control remediation recommendations, development of lessons learned, aggregate such risks, integrate for executive reporting, and assist with new risk initiatives and projects.

Profile Description:

• Assist with the execution and active promotion of the RLUS risk management framework
• Support the implementation of the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (GRC) tool to enable and automate the governance, compliance, and risk management processes
• Train business partners in the proper use of the GRC to facilitate the rollout and adoption of the tool
• Provide oversight and challenge to the business on operational risk, design and effective operations of controls, including in the context of risk and control self-assessments
• Perform independent testing and assessments across a spectrum processes, documenting testing methods and results, and draft final reports to management
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to partner and build professional relationships
• Monitor issues within the GRC to ensure prompt remediation and control implementation
• Perform in depth and comprehensive gap analyses to determine the root cause of process gaps
• Assist with the preparation of materials for the various risk committees

Knowledge and Experience

• 7 or more years' combined experience in financial services Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Audit, Financial Controls and/or Compliance
• 5 years' experience performing risk assessments
• 3 years' experience with managing GRC tools and implementations (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management, etc.)
• The preferred person will have worked with an international life insurance company that is an Internationally Active Insurance Group. Working experience with a international parent company is also a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business processes, analyze potential risks and think outside the box to recommend appropriate solutions
• Highly disciplined, able to make independent decisions and work with limited supervision
• Experience in leading and delivering cross-functional initiatives, with the ability to collaborate with business and functional experts to provide risk assessment guidance, recognize risks and design enhancements.
• Proven track record of fostering relationships across all levels and operating through influence to formulate, advocate and drive ideas forward
• Proficiency in automated reporting tools, Microsoft Office suite of products

Travel: some travel may be required up to 15%

These estimates consider a wide range of factors in making base salary decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. In addition to salary, Resolution Life US offers a comprehensive benefits package, including our health & wellness program, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The range for the role may differ based on the location.

• West Chester, PA: $126,000 - $154,000
• Des Moines, IA, Minneapolis, MN, Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC: $116,800 - $142,700
• New York City: $135,100 - $165,100
