Job Description Details:

The Global Payments Solutions (GPS) team is responsible for developing and delivering a robust set of payment solutions in support of our eight lines of business so consumers and businesses choose us for their financial transaction and cash management needs. The GPS Innovation & Strategy team partners with key business units throughout Bank of America to ensure payment strategies align with enterprise wide goals and that the initiatives aligned to those strategies bring value to our customers and business. The team leads a cross functional Innovation Process with the goal of driving innovation across all lines of business. The team also works closely with the technology, product, and digital organizations on some of the highest profile company initiatives including Zelle, Wire/ACH Transfers, Real Time Payments, Bill Pay, and Digital Wallets.

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter, passionate about solving client problems and improving the way we operate. This individual must exhibit strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple high priority tasks for the business with overlapping deadlines. It is equally important to be a clear and concise communicator to effectively message to all levels within an organization as well as being comfortable with public speaking. This role will report to the Head of Global Payments Solutions Innovation & Strategy and has a number of significant responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop business requirements based on a true understanding of client needs, working closely with cross-functional partners to inform scope and solution design of new functionality for customer-facing and associate-facing solutions
  • Develop subject-matter expertise and business acumen in order to design and implement these payment solutions
  • This will be an individual contributor role working across consumer, small business, wealth and corporate banking client segments.


Required Qualifications:
  • Deliver payment solutions in business, technology or operations role with proven track record on managing projects end-to-end through the system development lifecycle, bringing new capabilities to market.
  • Operate independently within a matrixed organization at a variety of executive and junior levels.
  • Develop and/or influence product strategy to deliver comprehensive and cohesive solutions across the bank.
  • Comfortable at executive communications and stakeholder relationship management.
  • Manage several projects/deliverables at the same time, spanning technology, strategy, and product development.


Desired Qualifications:
  • MS Excel & PowerPoint to visualize data and communicate information clearly.
  • Figma/Invision to collaborate on user interface prototypes experience.
  • JIRA to create and refine business requirements with technology teams experience.
  • Agile Methodology and familiarity with Bank of America technology processes and systems.
