Business Manager, Partnerships and Special Projects

Position Summary: The Business Manager for Partnerships is responsible for managing the legal and business terms for all Kith partnerships and collaborations. This role will liaise with all support functions pre, during, and post contract negotiations with Kith brand partners to ensure successful execution of partnerships and collaborations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Partnerships and Special Projects team across all legal and business functions.
  • Liaise across teams to ensure successful execution of all business terms pertaining to brand partnerships.
  • Manage communication, coordination, and execution of all partner terms, contracts, budgets, reporting and day to day maintenance.
  • Help negotiate business, product and marketing terms with collaborative partners.
  • Help to draft and circulate internal partnership briefs.
  • Effectively communicate all actionable items and legal feedback across teams internally and externally, including design, production, merchandising, content, operations, and accounting.
  • Maintain internal share drives and trackers, with all relevant legal documents, budgets and reporting documents pertaining to brand partnerships.
  • Manage all payables and receivables for partnerships as well as royalty reporting, sales reporting, projections etc.
  • Liaise with buying, merchandising and finance on all minimum guarantees, royalty reporting and projections.
  • Create internal business recaps for partnerships encompassing marketing costs, total sales and partner payables/receivables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant cross-functional business and/or legal support role.

Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate priorities and business driving information across teams with various goals and working styles.
  • Able to operate creatively and from a business-minded perspective and communicate to both sides of the table effectively.
  • Strong ability to perform business math and basic accounting.
  • Comfortable and experienced in reviewing contracts and legal documents, negotiating terms and liaising with lawyers.
