Austin Fraser is currently supporting a scientific consulting and services firm that offers data science related technical solutions and technologies through research and development, test and evaluation. A large majority of their work lies in laboratory operations, systems design integration and production as it relates to the scientific world.

The Job
As a Sr Research Data Scientist, you will be responsible for performing tasks such as data analytics, data clean-up, data processing, ML modeling, statistical analysis, and multivariate data analysis as it relates to scientific data.
Required
Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc)3-5 years of professional industry experienceProficient in Python, R, Java and/or MatlabCompetency using Linux/Unix OSMust come from a science background (Chemistry or Biochemistry)Experience in chromatography, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging, proteomics, metabolomics, RF signal processing, genomics or other biochemical analysis methodsExperience in developing NLPs and Machine Vision ModelsExperience in developing proteomics or metabolomics data analysisPrevious research and development experience related to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and or explosive threats
Preferred
PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biochemistry or relevant fieldSignificant experience in software programming/scripting for scientific data science and machine learning modelsExperience with Chemometrics is highly desired
