Trane in New York City is hiring for an Associate Account Manager in Comprehensive Solutions to join our team. In this sales position, you will be responsible to learn the overall Comprehensive Solutions (CS) portfolio and assist the Senior Business Development Managers in their day to day sales activities.Responsibilities:

Train under the existing Comprehensive Solutions (CS) Senior Business Development Managers.Develop a basic understanding of the Vertical Markets, Strategies and Comprehensive Solutions provided by the CS Team.Assist on sales calls.Provide assistance to CS team with writing proposals.Assist in developing the reasons to engage for “C” level introduction meetings by extensive researching of:The prospective customer’s capital and operating budgets.Past board, council meeting minutes and future meeting agendas.LinkedIn research of key contact individuals.Prospective customer’s web site looking for KBIs, KPIs and critical success factors.Assist on preliminary engineering site walks of customer sites and proposal development.Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-10 years of solution sales experience with a focus on energy-driven solutions related to commercial HVAC and Building Automation systems.Must have a proven track record of developing and closing net new business.Must have strong presentation skills and demonstrated experience pricing systems for customers.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.Benefits:
