Indorama Ventures is looking for an Account Executive to join our Integrated Oxides and Derivatives team. As an Account Executive for Indorama’s Performance Products market, you will be responsible for the account management of the segment. This role will have cover several markets with a specific focus in the growth of our Nutrition and Pharma markets. The Account Executive is responsible for management of new and existing accounts at Indorama in the Performance Products market. The Account Manager will explore new opportunities within and beyond core customers. You will manage all day-to-day account responsibilities (pipeline of opportunities, call reports, account plans, etc) for assigned customers. This role reports to the Commercial Manager and is available to work remotely.

What will be expected of you?

Understand organizational priorities, develop and implement the Account plans aligned with the segment's strategic plan, ensuring adequate communication and awareness in the company.Understand customer’s business needs and priorities, discovering and validating key challenges & quantifying opportunities.Connect customer needs with the Indorama strategy.Develop network between the main contacts of the customer, managing relationships in commercial, marketing and R&D areas.Assure alignment to provide service recognized as valuable by the accounts in terms of Negotiation / TS&D / Commercial / Innovation / Quality / project running and implementation.Define and track expected results for the Account.Manage business and develop a pipeline with customer.Ensure the results of accounts maximized and be responsible for the results of the business.Work collaboratively with cross functional teams in a regional and global setting.Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company required training programs.

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

Bachelors Degree or higher in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.1-3 years experience in chemical sales, experience in food or pharma is a plus.Willing to travel up to 50%.The ability to sell in a wide variety of markets, and have the ability to build relationships at target accounts.High level of organization, to balance multiple activities (customer visits, reporting, training, and forecasting).Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Must have a valid Drivers license.Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs.Experience and Knowledge of the Surfactants Market.SAP Knowledge preferred.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
