Fitch Technology is currently seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer based out of our New York office.
We are seeking a Lead Engineer to enhance the quality assurance processes for our Fitch Ratings workflow applications. This position will involve working closely with the core processes that serve the Fitch Ratings analytical community. The role affords an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the business domain and ensure data quality for Fitch Ratings.

Serve as the test lead on an agile squad, Mentor and lead a team of QA engineersContribute to and develop sophisticated automation frameworks that are efficient, flexible, and reusable in Selenium Java or PythonIntegrate test case execution and reporting within the CI/CD pipeline to align with the DevOps strategy, criteria, requirements, and user storiesWork with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and users to build and refine test strategies for your team as well as to ensure integrity of dependent systemsInfluence the team to design and build for testabilityImplement BDD practices and frameworks and enhance test automationWhat You Need to Have:
8+ years of experience with automation testing (Selenium) and translating requirements into test cases5+ years integrating automated testing with DevOps tools (Bamboo, Jenkins) and working in Scrum-based Agile teams5+ years of visual/UI testing and API testing2+ years testing event-driven services, message queues, and event brokers (Kafka)Proficient in performance testing tools (JMeter, K6, Neoload, LoadRunner)In-depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and DB testing with SQLSolid understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow) and CI/CD processesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to deliver in a complex, dynamic team environment with minimal supervisionWhat Would Make You Stand Out:
Experience with UFTExposure to SonarQube, and shift-left principlesPython code for testing and use of Python frameworks (Pandas, Numpy, Requests, Boto3)Experience testing container resiliency (Docker/Kubernetes)Skilled in writing SQL/NoSQL queries for data verificationExperience adding performance validation to CI pipelinesExposure to the financial industry domain and data platforms (data warehouses, data lakes)

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY:
Expected base pay salary range for this role is $138,000 - $144,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
