Job Description:

Provide legal counsel and representation to municipalities, local governments, and special districts

Advise clients on matters related to general municipal law, including land use, zoning, and public contracting

Handle code enforcement matters and represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings

Assist with legal issues pertaining to water law, including water rights, regulations, and disputes

Address legal matters concerning sanitation districts, including compliance, governance, and litigation

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Active license to practice law in California

3+ years of experience in General Municipal Law, Code Enforcement, Water Law, and Sanitation District Law

Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Demonstrated commitment to client service and satisfaction

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in California
