Serve as Team Lead on a $1.5M book of business consisting of large real estate accounts. This role includes program negotiation, client engagement, creating proposals/presentations, and triaging/prioritizing daily requests. The ideal candidate will work closely with existing Account Executive in NY to review upcoming renewals, strategize client servicing efforts, and delegate duties. Occasional travel to 2-3 large clients on a semiannual basis will be required.Primary Responsibilities & Duties:Assist in Real Estate Program negotiations, data manipulation in excel, thorough technical review of all program quotes/policies to ensure best possible coverage for membersEstablish and develop new carrier relationshipsWork with Philadelphia team on new business coming in from inside and outside sources including submissions, reviewing quotes, proposals, presentationsUnderwrite and review new business in RE program at peak times of the yearWork with IT on further development of Data base (REDS)Assist in RE renewal (quoting and renewing in Data base)Requirements and Qualifications:5 years+ Commercial Lines client management experienceValid P&C brokers’ licenseCollege degree preferredIndustry specific designations preferred- CISR, ARM or similarProficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferredExtensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reportingAbility to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative informationUnderstanding of marketplace trends and best practices to best meet client needs
