Job Description:PURPOSE OF JOB:

Provide administrative support for the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as well as maintain efficient operations of the Finance Division and various Finance Departments. Under guidance of the CFO, work closely with Finance Directors, Board Members, Finance Division staff, DH Leadership and Administration, acting as liaison/resource person to enhance communication, facilitate meetings and assist in preparation of financial and statistical reports with internal and external stakeholders and to accomplish goals related to Financial Administration and Fiscal Services.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Under limited supervision, organize schedule, and prioritize responsibilities; actively participate and facilitate administrative and organizational improvement efforts and goals. Coordinate work flow with attention to detail; optimize use of electronic tools and computer applications to complete tasks, solve problems and keep projects on schedule.Pro-actively communicate and coordinate committee meetings with Board Members, DH Leadership, Senior Executives, Department Directors, Associates, Medical Staff, Clinical Leaders, VIA Members, Patients, Volunteers, community members, and other external contacts such as accounting, tax and consulting firms, supply vendors, insurance carriers, attorneys, bond rating agencies, banks, and financial institutions.Prepare financial spreadsheets, compose presentation and reporting materials, document meeting minutes, spreadsheets, documentation and correspondence as necessary to facilitate essential communication and enhance accountability. Prepare materials for Finance Committees of the Board. Develop knowledge and aptitude in various systems applications.Maintain knowledge of Doylestown Health organization structure; demonstrates awareness of strategic plan and initiatives, mission and values; understands Administrative and Finance policies and procedures and keeps informed of any changes. Updates and distributes policies as necessary; supports administrative operations.Construct meaningful records and maintain files in accordance with DH policies and federal regulations, as appropriate. Maintains documentation to support bond stipulations, and to ensure adherence to continuing disclosure requirements.Carry out responsibilities with an adherence to professional standards, a commitment to performance improvement, and an interest in professional growth and development.Job Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree helpful. If no Degree, commensurate relevant experience (5+ years) and expertise.Skilled in preparation of financial and statistical reporting, executive support preferred.Experience: 4+ years of office or field experience in administrative role with public contact; exposure to healthcare environment or finance division is optimal.Position requires strong knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook; Experience in drafting written correspondence at an Executive level; must be articulate and poised; comfortable with telephone, email, printing and scanning equipment; skilled with on-line file storage and document publishing (e.g., Directors Desk); strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to compose spreadsheets, organize and present data; proven excellence in customer service; strong project management skills; strong team player and adaptable; ability to work independently; good interpersonal skills.
