Job Description Summary:
Adjunct faculty member to teach one or more classes in the Respiratory Therapy program for the St. Augustine site.Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University's Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission as a Catholic and Lasallian institution of higher education.Teach one or more classes in a designated areaMonitor the quality of laboratory equipment and replace or repair any defective itemsSet up the laboratory facility in preparation for a lab experienceAssist students in performing the necessary skills being taught during the sessionEvaluate students' capability to demonstrate the skill being taught.Minimum Qualifications
BS (preferably in respiratory therapy)RRT credentials from the AZ National Board of Respiratory CareMinimum of 4 years of clinical experience (preferably in a critical care setting)Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a preceptor or clinical educatorTeaching experience as a clinical and/or faculty instructor in a respiratory therapy programWork hours
