Location: Remote/Hybrid if local to MarylandPosition Summary:Sparksoft is hiring a motivated individual to be part of our UI/UX team supporting a multiyear Enterprise Federal Healthcare Program. This role provides User Interface design to support the development and maintenance of software applications built using a tailored SAFe and DevSecOps process.The person in this role will work closely with the Product Management and DevOps team to analyze existing systems, help develop requirements for new systems, create wireframes and mockups, understand HCD, UI/UX best practices, and work with application users to create modern, clean, intuitive applications to support the business objectives.Responsibilities:Create intuitive user experiences by transforming concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.Facilitate the client's product vision through the research, conception, ideation, prototyping, and user testing of digital product experiences.Construct and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and prototypes that are optimized for a variety of devices and interfaces.Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.Make design and user experience decisions regarding fundamental and new features and functions.Utilize a user-centric approach to design and promptly test and iterate your designs.Collaborate with other team members and relevant parties.Ask intelligent inquiries, take calculated risks, and champion innovative concepts.Implement the Digital Service Playbook and U.S. Web Design Standards' guiding principles.Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards, and site maps.Requirements:Required Skills/Experience:Experienced with methods of HCD, UX, and design-related processes.A portfolio to showcase a sharp eye for detail, robust design process, and visual aesthetics.Knowledge of GUI prototyping/wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc, Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Axure).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Experience in government/healthcare/insurance domain.Knowledge of Web Accessibility Standards and Section 508.Ability to work independently with a skill in producing excellent results despite technical limitations and time constraints.Desired:Experience with CMS Marketplace eligibility and appeal processing.Experience with contact center operations.Experience with case management workflows.Experience with customer correspondence design.Required:Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years.Education:Bachelor's degree (or higher).8+ years of experience.
