Focus:

Provide comprehensive legal counsel and support to clients in matters pertaining to wills, probate, and estate planning.

Utilize expertise in estate planning to assist clients in drafting wills, trusts, and navigating probate procedures.

Analyze, draft, and negotiate a diverse array of legal documents relevant to estate planning.

Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate on their behalf.

Stay abreast of current NJ State and Federal Laws pertinent to estate planning.

Cultivate strong client relationships, offering empathetic advice and reassurance during challenging times.

Effectively oversee a caseload of estate planning matters, ensuring compliance with specified monthly billable hour and collected dollar budget targets.

Supervise and delegate legal work to paraprofessionals to ensure their meeting of billable hour and collected dollar budget requirements.

Contribute positively to the company’s culture through collaboration and professionalism.

Skill Set:

Possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Admitted to the NJ State Bar, in good standing and accessible to courts. NY preferred but not required.

Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing estate planning, with trial experience preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in handling sensitive trusts and estates matters with discretion and integrity.

Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and advocacy skills with the ability to cultivate strong client relationships and provide empathetic advice.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail and superior written and verbal communication skills.

Proven track record of managing and prioritizing a high-volume caseload effectively.

Fluent in Spanish (preferred).
