Connecticut, Hamptons, Manhattan, New YorkAn active family of six on the Upper East Side needs to hire a full charge Housekeeper to care for their home. Responsibilities include:Deep cleaningLaundryIroningHousehold organizationRunning errandsTracking inventorySupervising vendors/repair workersPet care (dog)Light child care assistance for the youngest child in the morningAll candidates must have experience working in fine homes caring for fine furnishings, delicate materials/clothing, polishing silver, and caring for china. The Housekeeper must be meticulous and high caliber, performing museum-quality cleaning. Serving experience is a huge plus, and the Housekeeper must be flexible to work with the chef for dinner parties and entertaining.Candidates should have 5+ years of experience working for a private family. Must drive and be comfortable driving a large SUV in the city and suburbs. Summers are spent in the Hamptons and Connecticut, so the Housekeeper must live in and travel with the family. International travel is also a plus.The ideal individual will be non-obtrusive and have a calm and collected personality. The family enjoys a clean, neat, and quiet home. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 7/7:30 am to 5 pm, with flexibility for additional hours. Salary ranges from $40 to $55 depending on experience, plus benefits. Immediate start for the right person.
