THE JOB / Account Manager, Client Services (Talent Management – Airline Client)CLIENT SERVICES : Responsible for leading Octagon’s client business and day-to-day management of client programs.***Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position is in Atlanta, GA.The Account Manager is responsible for supporting the activation and promotion of Delta’s various brand ambassadors. This individual will work effectively with cross-functional teams within Octagon and the client organization.AM will be located in Atlanta, but infrequent travel could be required to both domestic and international markets.THE WORK YOU’LL DOCollaborate with the client’s Sponsorship Marketing, Corporate Communications, Sales, Loyalty, Employee Engagement, Community Engagement, and Government Affairs teams to ensure the effective use of both hospitality and ambassador opportunities. This includes engagements, event tickets, employee activation, and Senior Leadership requests.Work collaboratively with other colleagues to support execution across the holistic portfolio.Communicate regularly with various client stakeholders to deliver against the objectives of those stakeholders.Work with talent representatives to manage the contracts and all related assets and responsibilities for each brand ambassador – appearance hours, production days, autographed merchandise, etc.THE BIGGER TEAM YOU’LL JOINOctagon is the global sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing arm of the Interpublic Group.We take pride in being Playmakers – finding insightful, bold ways to create play in our work, our lives, and in the world.We believe in the power of play to create big ideas and unlock potential for our clients and talent.WHO WE’RE LOOKING FORMarketing, promotions and/or project management experience (4+ years).Previous experience working with brand ambassador talent/personalities, client partners, and client cross-functional teams.Proven decision-making skills that include attention to detail and follow through.Demonstrates effective relationship management skills across all levels.Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization.Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.Excellent attention to detail.Demonstrates resourcefulness and the ability to work proactively while collaborating in a team environment.Prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment.Driven to take the initiative to succeed when presented with individual work responsibilities.Works extremely well in a team environment.Sponsorship marketing experience strongly preferred.Ability to work events on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.Some travel required (approx. 25%).All applicants will need to provide proof of COVID vaccination or contact the organization’s HR team if eligible for an exemption.Compensation + Benefits:L3:

The base range for this position is $60,000 – 65,000.
