Mammographer

Purpose

Human Longevity, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammographer to join our imaging team in San Diego, California. The Mammographer will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Perform mammographic examinations, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient comfort.

Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.

Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure patient and staff safety, including proper use of radiation protection measures.

Provide compassionate and professional care to patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of mammographic images.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Stay current with advances in mammography technology and techniques through continuous education and training.

Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Perform DEXA body compositions and CT calcium scores when needed.\

Required Qualifications

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Mammography.

Valid California Radiologic Technologist license.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammographer.

Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating mammography equipment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to patient-centered care and high ethical standards.

Knowledge of current mammography regulations and standards

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with digital mammography and advanced imaging techniques.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
