About the Job:

We are looking for a

Sales Director, New Customer Acquisition

to build and lead our Quality Assurance (QA) Customer Acquisition team. Your team is purely focused on finding net new logos outside of the Qt ecosystem of clients. You will be part of the regional sales leadership team, as well as the newly established QA Sales Community, and will also have a dotted line reporting to the QA Business Unit at the HQ in Finland.

The ideal applicant is an enthusiastic sales leader with a proven track record in building winning sales teams; isn’t afraid of speed and changes as we adapt to the local market requirements; and has a good understanding of the software development processes, and the pain points within. A history of selling software quality assurance products is considered a plus.

You will:

Build and manage the New Customer Acquisition team for the QA business in the USPossess a deep understanding of the Quality Assurance tools market in the region, and communicate the needs of the business to the senior leadershipExplain the benefits and features of the Qt quality assurance software products and services and how they compare to competitorsCommunicate, present, and influence at all levels of the organization, especially at the executive and C-levelBe an expert in driving the sales process from planning to closingDevelop regional go-to-market plans and identify new approaches to prospecting customersPrepare professional action plans, performance and sales reports, and business plans to communicate business endeavors to company leadershipApprove and create a commercial strategy and business plans, involving price strategies and proposals, negotiation, and customer contract commitmentsAbout You:

8+ years of experience in tech/SaaS sales, preferably within software engineering with a track record of building and leading winning sales teamsGood technical background, a Bachelor's degree, or equal qualification in a technical or business field preferredExperienced in selling, managing, or using quality assurance software products and services is a plus but not a mustProven track record of successful personal sales pipeline management and results with a track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customersTarget-driven and results-focused personality to deliver overachievement against clear objectives and business development targetsBusiness development experience in a strategic enterprise sales environment within a matrixed, global organizationKnowledge and experience in managing and coaching sales teams to acquire new businessFamiliarity with Software Development Life Cycle and Software Quality Assurance tools
