Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, people management, strategic planning, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. The Senior Sales Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing an effective sales strategy, managing the sales team, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.

Responsibilities :

Builds a world-class sales team.

Develops and implements a sales channel strategy.

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the sales team.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective lead generation and customer retention strategies.

Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.

Utilize CRM tools and other technology to track and analyze sales activities.

Directs, develops, and implements strategies in assigned area of responsibility to grow company revenue in accordance with organization goals and objectives.

Coordinate business needs with operational leadership to maximize results.

Lead and grow internal sales, and customer service teams.

Reviews the market position of competing products, services, and organizations and evaluates their marketing and sales techniques.

Develops contract strategy and negotiates contracts in accordance with company standards and business requirements.

Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns.

Establishes distributor and key/national account relationships and ensures they are managed properly.

Oversees and approves budget planning and sales forecasting and prepares other reports for management as requested.

Works in conjunction with and ensures support for sales administration, product development, marketing communications, research, and innovation.

Recommend and implement continuous improvements in sales processes and strategies.

Foster a collaborative and motivated sales culture that encourages teamwork and individual success.

Qualifications :

15+ years in the polymer industry, Chemical Manufacturing industry or related field.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Proven experience in sales leadership with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales target.

Proven record of developing and building world-class commercial teams.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and lead a high-performing sales team.

Familiarity with CRM software and other sales technology tools.

Working experience with SAL a plus, ability to develop dashboards using SAP or BI type software desired.

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
