Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world-changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.As Illumina’s Senior/Staff Product Manager for the NovaSeq 6000 product line, you will manage on-market NovaSeq 6000 System and support uptake of this portfolio across multiple applications, segments, and geographies. This role will be critical in supporting the large existing user base for Illumina’s high-throughput systems and core reagents. As a product manager, the role will support the development of product requirements, market definition and commercialization tactics as well as enabling the commercial team to address new and emerging markets and applications.Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of on-market products including analysis of business trends, market sizing, customer segmentation and competitive analysis.Act as the product management lead to facilitate implementation of product updates to the existing portfolio to support customer needs and continuous portfolio improvement.Develop sales tools for specific applications in collaboration with related departments.Collaborate with sales and marketing groups to develop product messaging.Stay current on competitor activities and define differentiators.Work closely with R&D and other departments to ensure products meet the company’s high standards.Support the development and execution of product lifecycle roadmap.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements

2-4 years of product management or similar experience.Experience with genetic analysis (sequencing, genotyping and/or expression) and/or liquid handling automation is strongly preferred.Familiarity with marketing research techniques.Experience defining user requirements is preferred.Sales or customer facing experience is strongly preferred.Strong project management and organizational skills are required.Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.Excellent communication and team management skills are required.Willing to travel up to 20%.Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Genetics, Business or related field or equivalent years.Master’s Degree and/or PhD is preferred.MBA is preferred.The estimated base salary range for the Sr. Product Manager/Staff Product Manager NovaSeq 6000 role based in the United States of America is: $103,500 - $155,300. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
