What You’ll Do:

As a Sr. Product Manager - Retail Operations you will be in charge of our Retail Systems department, shaping and advancing our retail operations through effective management and enhancement of systems like ERP (Microsoft Dynamics), POS systems, and seed-to-sale tracking systems. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of Curaleaf's retail operations. Your strategic vision, combined with your expertise in retail systems, will drive innovation, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction, making a significant impact on our growth and success in the cannabis industry.

Lead the strategy and execution of the product roadmap: You will play a central role in systems migrations and data stewardship, ensuring the seamless integration of these systems into our daily operations, enhancing efficiency, compliance, and customer experience across all retail dispensaries.POS Systems Management and Innovation: Continuously evaluate and improve our existing POS system while strategically planning for future needs. Lead initiatives for POS system upgrades or replacements, ensuring minimal disruption to retail operations.Product and Promo Creation: Oversee a team of retail systems associates that are charged with finished product creation and promotion creation in our POS and E-com systems.ERP Project Management: Oversee all retail aspects of Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation, including requirements gathering, system customization requirements, user training, and post-implementation support. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure ERP solutions are aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements.Retail Systems Strategy and Execution: Collaborate closely with dispensary leadership to refine retail system usage at the store level, focusing on staff training and customer experience improvement. Lead cross-functional initiatives to align retail system projects with broader organizational goals.Vendor Management and Strategic Innovation: Build strong partnerships with software vendors, and staying at the forefront of retail systems technology. Drive innovation and continuous improvement by staying updated with industry trends and introducing new solutions for business growth and operational efficiency.Digital Product Road mapping and Backlog Management: Set a strategic roadmap for retail systems products, balancing aspirational functions and operational priorities. Build, prioritize, and maintain a product backlog to deliver customer satisfaction and significant business value. Partner with analytics, marketing, and IT stakeholders to define product strengths and weaknesses. Identify key opportunities for improvement in user experience and business performance and determine the order in which we should implement them.Requirement Development and User Story Creation: Craft detailed functional specifications, business requirements, and user stories, ensuring clear communication of product needs to architecture and development teams in addition to vendor partners.Cross-Functional Collaboration, Communication and Leadership: Engage with various stakeholders, including senior management, to communicate priorities and progress. Conduct regular meetings and effectively disseminate project updates across the organization.Advanced Data Stewardship: Implement data governance frameworks for retail finished goods.Comprehensive Seed to Sale Systems Oversight: Ensure meticulous management of seed-to-sale tracking systems as it relates to end user functionality in partnership with Internet Technology (IT), focusing on accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws.Operational Excellence and KPI Management: Analyze and interpret KPI data to assess effectiveness and guide strategic pivots.

Who You Are:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, marketing, or a related field.3-5 years of product management experience, with a specific focus on Retail Point of Sale (POS) solutions, and at least 2-3 years in a management or leadership role within this domain.Possess extensive experience in POS migrations and project planning.Project Management Excellence: Demonstrate a proven track record in applying project management principles and processes.1-3 years of hands-on experience in ERP system implementations, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics.Ability to dive deep into data, extract meaningful insights, identify business opportunities, and execute impactful strategies.Combine excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a solutions-focused approach.Influential communicator.Self-Motivated and Adaptable.Collaborative Spirit and Leadership.Attention to Detail and Organization.Resilient and Positive Attitude.Passion for Excellence.Innovator and Thought Leader.
