Remote and Telework will be authorized for contract staff residing outside the 50-mile radius of Fort Detrick.
Duties/Responsibilities
The contractor will provide leadership, planning, direction, and oversight, and coordinates with external and internal stakeholders to align MEDLOG IT PMO vision, mission, near and long-term plans, road maps, and tactics to upper-level Governance, DoD Instructions, and Command and Control functions.
The SME leverages and monitors industry, DoD, and VA optimizations using lessons learned/recommendations from internal and external audits, U.S. GAO reports, attendance in industry forums.
The SME executes identification of, research on, and presentation of proposed use of emerging technologies as informed by business, industry, and best practice research using scholarly articles and subscriptions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Medical Logistics, or related fields
10-15 years of experience as Strategic Integration SME
Resume demonstrates KSAs on the use and application of DoD and/or VA logistics data towards the business process, required
Strong experience in product taxonomies and identification to include Global Trade Item Number (GTIN), National Drug Code (NDC), United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC), National Stock Numbers (NSN), and Health Industry Business Communications Council standards, required
Experience with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Medical Master Catalog (MMC), required
Experience in Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps is required. DoD and/or VA Medical Supply Chain business process experience, required.
The contractor will demonstrate proficiency in Defense Business System requirements is desired.
DAU Practitioner (formerly Level 1 or 2) Program Manager Certification is required.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library certification is desired.
