As you care for and help patients achieve goals and regain independence, you can form significant relationships with them and celebrate the successes they experience along the way.The Director of Nursing oversees and manages nursing personnel within the long-term skilled facility by working collaboratively with department heads and staff to:Ensure compliance with regulations for documentation from physicians and nursing personnel and ensure that all regional policies/procedures are implemented.Assist with the care planning process and develop/implement quality assurance and risk management programs.Make rounds daily to direct the work of employees and observe for hazards, work duty problems, and ensure services are delivered to clients consistent with needs.Assist with Continuous Quality Improvement and corrective follow-up actions.Follow up daily on each unit to ensure changes in status are reported and recorded and that services are provided.QUALIFICATIONS:Active RN License within the StateMust have at least three years nursing experience and one year supervisory experienceStrongly preferred 3 years-experience in long-term/skilled careWe offer the following benefits for you and your family:Competitive WagesElite Low Cost Gold Plan Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance
