We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an Advisory software developer in z/TPF, you will work with clients and others in a multidisciplinary team to define requirements and develop solutions. You will design, code, and test solutions using C/C++, Assembler, and other technologies. You will support the product through maintenance activities such as responding to high severity problems and cases, performing problem diagnosis, and providing fixes.Required Technical and Professional Expertise6+ years of software development experienceExperience leading others on development projectsExperience in product development, support, and customization based on business requirementsProficient in C/C++ programming languageStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills to analyze issues and defectsPreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseWorking knowledge of AssemblerCommunication skills in a customer facing environmentAbout IBMIBM's greatest invention is the IBMer.
