So, if you share our focus and passion, join us and make a difference to patients – and in return, we’ll help you develop way beyond what you thought possible.The Oncology Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics department is looking for an individual who has a passion for BA and DMPK science, applied to Cancer biology. As a BA scientist, you will provide drug discovery and development bioanalytical input and support for the analysis of in vivo PK, PD, and in vivo samples across the global Oncology portfolio. In this role you will work closely with our established BA/ADME teams in Boston (US) and Cambridge (UK) to analyze and summarize data which will be presented in a multidisciplinary team environment.Responsibilities:

Developing bioanalytical methods, analyzing biological samples using quantitative LC-MS/MS assays, and performing non-compartmental PK analysis (NCA).Supporting the department’s leadership team in both the strategic vision for the department and in the efficient and progressive running of the department.Supervising more junior scientists by mentoring and challenging them, as well as providing expert advice and context for the interpretation of data.Managing student and Post Doc programmes.Involvement in external collaborative projects with academic or cross-pharma pre-competitive groups.Providing disciplinary scientific leadership and presenting work through patents, publications and lectures.Essential Requirements:

Minimum of a BS degree in a relevant field with 1+ years of proven experience in industry or in a core bioanalytical lab.A solid foundation in bioanalytical chemistry with demonstrated expertise in LC-MS/MS techniques is critical.This position requires a proven track record of experience in the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mass spectrometers and LC equipment.Must have excellent problem solving, organizational and documentation skills, and strong oral and written communication skills.This role requires the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team-based, multidisciplinary, fast-paced research environment.The candidate will have experience in one or more of the following skills and competencies:Use of Applied Biosystems Sciex triple quadrupole mass spectrometers;Familiarity with laboratory automation/liquid handling equipment;Experience evaluating and implementing new bioanalytical technologies or techniques;Instrument/method troubleshooting;Knowledge of the conduct and interpretation of a variety of in vitro DMPK assays.Experience and knowledge of working with multiple modalities including; small molecules, biologics, Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs), nano-medicines and PROTACs is a plus.About The Site
