Preparation of ocean import shipments and distribution of Import DocumentsGeneral business support function as assignedPrepare ocean import shipments for assigned customers. This may include customs clearance, updating schedule report, tracking vessel schedule, etc.Prepare ocean import documents for distribution to brokerage department and/or Customers’ BrokerCoordinate pick-up and delivery orders with trucking companies, airlines, steamship line, and/or bonded facilities in order to obtain necessary information to process shipments in the best way.Filing and data entry.Issue freight bills and invoices to brokers and responsible for collecting unpaid invoices within credit terms.Collaborate with the team to support various tasks and projects as needed by the company.Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years direct Ocean Import experienceHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant working experience.Familiar with Steamship line website, scheduleKnowledge of international commerce (Incoterms, method, customs regulations, etc.) desirableGood verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays as necessaryShould demonstrate a willingness and ability to quickly adapt to and learn new computer systems and softwareExpert at MS EXCEL is a major plusRequired Bilinguals Korean due to need to communicate with HQ in KoreanAdditional Information
