SR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job DescriptionSkiltrek is seeking a motivated Sr. Software Engineer to join a Software Company. This Boston-based software company is an industry leader in Risk Modeling. The company partners with insurance, reinsurance, financial, and government clients to help in catastrophe modeling software and services around the world. This is a permanent position that will allow you to be part of the complete life cycle of developing a new SaaS product that will transform their industry! This client seeks employees who are curious about technology and want to grow within a company!You will be part of the Product Team, supporting the company's flagship platforms. As a Senior Developer on the team, you will be a key contributor in the end-to-end development of the products which are sold to Fortune 1000 clients worldwide. The technology stack for the platform is hosted C#, .Net, and MySQL. The n-tier, multi-distributed products are composed of their own analytical server, SQL server, and own UI. This role will be focused heavily on back-end development, but will also involve server-side development. There is JavaScript and Angular on the UI, but this will not be a core part of your daily tasks. Having experience designing and architecting new features that can be conceptualized and developed on the processing (analytical) side is preferred, while prior experience hands-on developing an enterprise product is required. You will be on a very collaborative agile scrum team, with daily stand-up meetings and joint code reviews.
