Description

The Senior Equity Financial Analyst is a key member of the Capital Markets Team within UKG’s Corporate Treasury organization. The team's primary focus encompasses forecasting and reporting on global cash, investment income, debt, and equity program transactions. Additionally, the team manages the derivative and hedging program, investment portfolio, credit facilities, capital market monitoring, and maintains lender and rating agency relationships. This role is the Finance Department’s resource dedicated to UKG's Equity program and reports directly to the Vice President of Global Tax and Treasury.

Primary/Essential Duties And Key Responsibilities

Collaboration with Equity Compensation Team: Act as the Finance liaison with the Equity Compensation team to gather the necessary information and insights needed to fulfill job responsibilities effectively.Support other teams with Equity related matters: On an as needed basis provide support and assistance to other Finance teams such as Accounting, Treasury Operations, and Internal Audit at a transactional or program level.Cash Flow Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain and enhance the equity cash flow forecast model for use in short-term and long-term projections, annual budgeting, debt transactions, solvency opinions, and investor reporting.Financial Control for Equity Program: Maintain and execute required financial controls related to the Equity program, including but not limited to, reconciling payments to source systems, reviewing transaction-related files for payment initiation, testing transactions against supporting documentation, and validating equity system activity.Actual vs. Forecast Analysis: Prepare analyses and reports comparing equity program cash flows to forecasts.Financial Scenario Modeling: Conduct various financial scenario modeling of equity transactions, what-if cash flow analyses, stress testing, and ad-hoc reporting for senior management.Intercompany Equity Recharge Agreements: Oversee and ensure adherence to intercompany equity recharge agreements with foreign subsidiaries.Credit Facility Coordination: Collaborate with other Capital Market team members to manage equity payment capacity.Tax Filings: Coordinate the preparation of Equity program-related tax filings.Equity System Implementation: Depending on start date, assist in the implementation of a new equity system.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.Relevant Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in performing forecast modeling and variance analysis, applying financial controls, working with corporate equity programs, and accounting for equity related transactions ASC 718.Equity Plan Administration and Understanding: Experience in equity plan administration and equity administration software is preferred. Strong comprehension of equity-related incentive award transactions, including RSUs, RSAs, and Stock Options and their lifecycle.Financial Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, including the ability to organize, prepare, and present financial reports and analyses.Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.Data Analytics Skills (Optional): Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Tools is a plus but not required.Equal Opportunity Employer
