Lauderdale, FL 33316, USAThe Program Director will help to oversee the Case Management compliance and Programmatic Deliverables reporting requirements on the LEAP High contract for the YMCA of South Florida. Under the supervision of the Executive leadership of Youth Development, the Program Director is responsible for the supervision, professional development, and mentoring of various full-time staff, administration, management, and oversight of various YMCA youth programs. This will include monitoring the Case Management/Success Coaching, Attendance, Project-Based Learning, and Cultural & Social Enrichment deliverables of the contract, assisting in supervised site visits, facilitating staff trainings to ensure compliance with grant mandates, completing documentation and reports aligned with the requirements of the funder, and assisting in analyzing grant performance on an ongoing basis.Essential Functions / Job Duties:Accountable for the overall operations of the designated programs including After-School, Out of School, and Summer Program.Ensures overall implementation of high-quality programs that meet contract compliance and outcomes.Responsible for budgeting, funds management, and adequate utilization of grant funds.Assists with the annual budget development and inputting of the budget into the department's internal financial systems.Completes and provides the Executive Directors Operational Reports for staffing and data outcomes.Attains student enrollment goals and ensures attendance maximizes contract(s).Completes all purchases within program budgets.Coordinates system for registration and intake at the beginning of each new program/new season.Ensures high standards of maintenance, safety, and cleanliness in facilities used by the YMCA.Enhances inclusion programs through program development, design, and assessment.Provides leadership to ensure compliance with contract service requirements.Oversees all licensing compliance including completing licensing packages.Acts as the community liaison for the designated program and ensures visibility and recognition in outreach activities.Reports all incidents and accidents within 24 hours to the corporate office.Adheres to the Child Abuse & Neglect Reporting requirements.Ensures that the proper staff to child ratios are maintained at all times.Manage programmatic reporting requirements for the LEAP High contract.Prepare contract summaries and reports for program goals and reporting requirements.Develop and maintain working relationships with Executive Leaders, Senior Program Directors, program staff, and the funding agency.Qualifications, Skills and Abilities / Position Requirements:Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Education, Social Work, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or related field.Minimum of two years’ work experience in one or more relevant areas.Detail-oriented, organized, able to maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Must possess self-initiative skills.Exceptional computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with individuals at all levels.Ability to work with minimum supervision.Certificates and Licenses:Valid Driver’s License.First Aid/CPR Certification.Position Profile:Exhibits analytical skills.Engages in proactive thinking.Systems and processes savvy.Accountability driven.Enjoys public speaking to staff, community stakeholders, and grant funders.Charismatic leader.Work Environment:
