Electrical Systems Design:

Lead and oversee the design and engineering of electrical systems for diverse projects, including commercial, industrial, and public facilities. This includes power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.Project Management:

Manage and supervise electrical engineering projects, from conception to completion, ensuring they are executed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.Technical Expertise:

Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams. Conduct complex electrical system analyses, load calculations, and studies to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.Design and Documentation:

Prepare detailed electrical design plans, calculations, specifications, and construction drawings. Review and approve designs created by junior engineers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.Coordination:

Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly within projects. Coordinate with external partners and vendors as necessary.Quality Assurance:

Ensure quality control and quality assurance for electrical designs. Conduct thorough reviews of electrical drawings and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure a high standard of work.Site Inspections:

Conduct site visits and inspections to verify the quality of electrical installations, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications.Client Interaction:

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing updates, and ensuring their satisfaction with the electrical engineering aspects of the projects.Code Compliance:

Stay abreast of local, state, and national electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with applicable codes and standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of California.8+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on building systems and infrastructure projects.Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and electrical analysis tools. Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) is a plus.In-depth knowledge of California electrical codes and regulations.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions, presentations, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient electrical design practices.Benefits:Generous Vacation401K ProgramAbility to work Hybrid after training periodNote:
