Summary:

Our company is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Java Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex full-stack applications using Java. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of modern application development, cloud architectures, automated testing, and container technologies. The Sr. Full Stack Java Developer will be part of a team that works on innovative projects for clients in the financial industry.

This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 1-2 days per week at our Dallas, TX location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex Java applicationsCollaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problemsCreate and maintain technical documentation related to software design and developmentParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team membersDevelop and maintain automated testing scripts to ensure high-quality software deliveryImplement modern cloud architectures such as microservices, serverless, and containerizationWork with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesDevelop RESTful APIs using Spring BootMentor and coach junior developers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with JavaExperience with React a plusExperience in Java 8 and aboveExtensive experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA and HibernateIn-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.Expertise in RESTful architectureExpertise with relational and document databases, such as SQL Server, Azure Cosmos Db, etc.Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD tools & Java build tools such as Maven and/or GradleExperience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnitExperience with modern cloud architectures such as microservices, serverless, and containerizationExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with Azure, AWS or other cloud providersStrong understanding of software design patterns and principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills with the capability to drive project tasks to successful completion.Ability to mentor and coach junior developers

Technical Qualifications:

Experience with Agile development methodologiesExperience presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience writing automated testing using a tool like Selenium

The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $141,120 to $168,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of proven experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand. This position can be office-based, hybrid in the continental United States. Onbe’s employee base is mostly clustered in the Eastern and Central time zones, with offices in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Chicago. Some periodic travel may be required.
