Job DescriptionThe Vice President of Enterprise Business Solutions is a key member of the management team who provides leadership of the enterprise software applications function for HITT Contracting (HITT). The VP will provide dynamic and transformative leadership and strategic direction driven by gaining a deep understanding of the business challenges and identifying & prioritizing technology solutions. Specifically, this individual directs the planning and implementation of software applications to support HITT's operations and foster innovation that creates competitive advantage, enhances customer experience, improves service quality, supports business development, and improves the cost effectiveness of operations. Additionally, this team member is responsible for our data analytics platform that helps the company maximize our results by extracting value from our data. Careful analysis of disparate datasets can aid the enterprises in optimizing predictive analytics capabilities across the enterprise. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).Responsibilities
Advise Chief Financial Officer and internal business partners to set objectives for existing and/or proposed information systems and the design of an improved application stack. Partner with leadership to define and execute transformative digital strategies that enable accomplishment of strategic objectives.Leadership and consultation in the areas of construction strategic planning, data analytics, business process and performance improvement, and information systems planning and deployment.Responsible for creating overall IT business application vision and strategy, including innovation, architectural direction, standards definition, governance, and supporting project portfolio execution.Develops future state architectural application blueprints to provide direction for development teams, requiring collaboration across IT departments and non-IT business functions.Effectively communicate the enterprise business solutions strategy to the HITT organization through the various leadership committees.Directly manages a multi-disciplined team of business analysts, programmers, and application specialists, including 3rd party consultants across enterprise solutions, business intelligence reporting, and integration.Provide leadership on company initiatives in line with overall company strategy and direction. Partner with cross-functional teams to address business investment opportunities in relation to technology. Assist in planning, coordination, and implementation of such investments.Assesses and introduces new and emerging software technologies and practices into the construction technology ecosystem.Aligns projects with technology roadmaps and future-state enterprise architecture.Keeps up to date on new methodologies, technologies, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing IT and Construction industries.Qualifications
10-15 years of progressive experience managing and/or directing an IT operation including experience in strategic planning and execution.Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science/business. Master's degree preferred.Familiarity with key business processes (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Design & Construction, Client Relationship Management) and their related systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.).Experience formulating vision and strategy to transform enterprise architecture to simplify and modernize an IT environment.Capable of presenting to and collaborating with senior business executives to build consensus on technology vision and strategy.Ability to create technology strategic plans and budgets with emphasis on cost/benefits analysis while managing both in-house and third-party service providers and consultants.Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through day-to-day management including excellent understanding of project management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.Excellent written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills; ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language and an exceptional service orientation.Exceptionally self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail.Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities; inherently curious regarding new technologies and processes.Deep comprehension of construction, real estate development, and management processes across multiple asset classes including hotel, retail, office, and residential preferred.HITT Contracting, Inc. is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
