HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Full Stack Engineer to be responsible for designing and running large numbers of simulations to generate key autonomy metrics. In this role, you will help the company scale to meet future milestones by building web apps.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in both backend and frontend environments. You are proficient in Python, React (or similar frontend language) and have strong communication skills.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll:Work on existing web apps that need additional features and functionality.Work on both the frontend and backend systems.Partner with team members that will help build out more complex backend APIs for your use in specific areas.You will work to help build up a codebase from beginning for a team with no existing website.Perform database calls to query data and appropriately format the data to be passed to the front end.Consume the formatted data and display it in tables, graphs and other formats on the corresponding web apps.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, other quantitative area or significant on-the-job experience.4+ years of industry experience in frontend, backend or full stack roles.Fluency in Python.Fluency in React or similar frontend language.Collaborative team player with strong written and in-person communication skills.Bonus Qualifications:Experience working with Flask.Experience with PostgreSQL and database query interfaces such as SQLAlchemy ORM.Knowledge of Javascript, CSS, Bootstrap, Google MUI or similar packages.Benefits:Pre-tax commuter benefits.Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits.Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs.HireArt covers all costs for short and long term disability and life insurance.401k package.Commitment:
