West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is seeking an overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our team of four board certified critical care specialists. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in emergency medicine. The clinician should have strong interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and be able to handle a high caseload in a fast-paced environment.

West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is a referral center, primary care facility, and teaching hospital with 24-hour emergency service. We are also one of the few Veterinary Trauma Centers in the United States. We have a staff of 56 veterinarians with specialists in internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, cardiology, oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, behavior, and rehabilitation/integrative medicine. An anesthesiologist will join the staff in August 2019.

We are a 42,000 sq ft hospital, the largest specialty hospital in the area that is centrally located in an affluent West Los Angeles location. The 3-level hospital encompasses nine state-of-the-art surgery suites, including suites dedicated to neurology, orthopedics, interventional radiology, and minimally invasive surgery. The hospital has 19 examination rooms, two medical procedure rooms, MRI, CT, a medical oncology suite (including our bone marrow transplant center), a radiation oncology suite housing a linear accelerator capable of IMRT, a large physical therapy/rehabilitation center, and a dedicated anesthesia technical department.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000.
