Senior Staff Software Engineer, Databases, Postgres, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.5 years of experience testing and launching software products.3 years of experience with software design and architecture.Preferred qualifications:Experience coding in C/C++.Experience in computer science and software development.Experience working in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service in large-scale distributed systems.Experience in database internals and postgres and driving changes to Cloud Database kernel.Experience in transaction processing, SQL, query performance, query plans and optimization.Experience working in database kernel/internals.About The JobGoogle Cloud's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
