The Manager, Sales Compensation provides leadership and coaching to the Sales Compensation associates throughout the completion of key processes, such as daily compensation payments, agent bonus, benefit tracking and billing, and agent terminations. The role adds value by removing associate roadblocks and identifying process improvement opportunities within Sales Compensation to deliver on our promises to key stakeholders. The role has developed knowledge within the sales compensation field through training or work experience and also has excellent business acumen with related knowledge in Financial Services industry, insurance and investment products.Primary Responsibilities

Leading, motivating, and developing a team of associates responsible for commission payments and related duties for all business lines.Mentoring, training, and coaching associates for career progression, performance improvement, and recognition purposes.Acting as the primary information source for the team, maintaining/implementing audit measures and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed.Creating, communicating, and implementing/maintaining quality control policies, operational expectations, and standard work procedures for associates.Providing input into future strategy of the team.Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives using Lean tools to improve customer satisfaction and back-office operations.Building and delivering productivity plans by reviewing scorecard measures, aligning with OneAmerica Way of Operations, and partnering with other Operations Managers to balance teams.Job Requirements

B.A./B.S., MBA, Compensation Professional (CSCP), Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) or equivalent designations are highly desirable.Associate, Customer Service (ACS) or Retirement Plan Fundamentals recommended.5-10 years’ experience (may be compensated by relevant educational background).Strong written and verbal communication skills that adapt to all audiences.Experience with transformation and change management.Excellent organizational skills to monitor/maintain team’s day-to-day activities.Ability to prioritize issues, tasks and project/analysis work to meet recurring and leadership assigned deadlines.Strong analytical skills, the desire to identify root cause and the ability to apply knowledge and previous experience in new situations.Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.Salary Band

06AThis selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.
